Am I the fly?
my perpetual buzz
darts through the sky
like nothing else does
it drives you insane

constant, consistent
application persistent
I flutter to see you
flinch at my steps

but through the sky
you’ll let me fly
and never will swat
to squish out my brain

till on your skin
you’ll let me sit
just long enough
for you to take aim

Am I the fly?
